Match Between Tromsø SK and Batani Chess Club from Maine

Tromsø sjakklubb (Tromsø Chess Club) is challenged by Batani Chess Club, based in the state of Maine – one of the smaller states in the US – for a friendly match of chess. This is close to the big city of Boston. The match will be played on 20 boards on Sunday the 29th of November at 12 O’clock Maine time – 18 O’Clock Norwegian time.

The match will be played out at Lichess.org with a 20 min. 0 sec. increment per player per game. Players at each board play two games against each other – one with white pieces, one with black pieces. Norwegian players will invite with both colors. Norwegian players should go to www.tromssjakk.no and read the instruction page for Tromsø players on how to invite Maine players. Below the players list you will see a screenshot and a tutorial for the Maine players on how to act to start the games at 12 O’clock Maine time.

Players from Maine: Just go to the Lobby in one browser window – and go to Lichess main page in another one alittle before 12 local time. Then you wait till you are invited! How? You just see a red circle or a red number up in the right corner as described below. Then start the first game. When the game is finnished – the NORWEGIAN player will report the result in the lobby, then he will invite you again with reversed colors. Same procedure.
